Dr. Rob Silver is Chief Veterinary Officer for Real Mushrooms, a family-owned business, where he designs innovative pet products and educates pet parents about functional mushrooms. As a pioneer in veterinary botanical medicine, he authored “There’s a Mushroom for That,” which provides an integrative health guide for 8 veterinary conditions responsive to mushrooms, cannabis, and integrative medicine.
Dr. Silver is also considered one of few true experts in veterinary cannabis. He created Well-Pet Dispensary™ to continue helping pets through his knowledge of the value of herbs, nutraceuticals, and diets and has authored the popular book “Medical Marijuana and Your Pet”.
A Charter Fellow and past-president of the American College of Veterinary Botanical Medicine, Dr. Silver has been providing post-graduate continuing education to veterinarians for over 25 years. He shares with his audiences how integrative medicine blends the best conventional therapy with the best of alternative and novel therapies to improve patient outcomes, especially with serious diseases such as cancer, and other chronic problems.
