BENEFITS

The bright red color of strawberries comes from anthocyanin, one of many antioxidants they contain that contribute to heart, brain, and immune health. Others include the anti-inflammatory flavonols quercetin and fisetin. In fact, strawberries are the richest dietary source of fisetin. Fisetin has been shown in studies to be a powerful senolytic, a substance that destroys senescent (or “zombie”) cells associated with age-related diseases. This small fruit also provides fiber for microbiome health and delivers a hefty dose of vitamin C.

Safe to feed daily. We recommend rotating toppers for variety to support healthy microbiome development.



HOW TO SERVE

  1. Wash thoroughly.
  2. Remove the green stem to prevent stomach upset.
  3. Chop into smaller pieces as they may present a choking hazard for smaller dogs.
  4. Serve fresh, frozen, freeze-dried, or dehydrated as a healthy treat or directly on your dog’s food as a meal topper.
