Slippery Elm

Backed by Dr. Katie Woodley

BENEFITS

Slippery elm is a gentle, demulcent herb that helps calm and protect your dog’s digestive tract. Its mucilage forms a soothing layer along the gut lining, reducing irritation from inflammation, acid buildup, and toxins. This makes it especially helpful for dogs dealing with diarrhea, constipation, reflux, or sensitive stomachs. It also supports gut lining repair and can improve nutrient absorption over time. Because it both soothes and stabilizes the GI system, slippery elm is a valuable tool during flares while supporting deeper healing of the gut environment.
